The person hired will start onsite at the SUNY Oswego until properly trained at which time a hybrid work schedule may be established where some work days are onsite and some are remote.
The hybrid work schedule will be in accordance with the SUNY-wide Telecommuting Policy.

Responsibilities:
Provide support and maintenance of enterprise software systems, including the Banner student information system.
Will report to the Assistant Director of Administrative Application Services for CTS and will be expected to work with a team of programmer/analysts and systems administrators to provide assistance in the following areas:

Provide first level software and program support for selected administrative offices
Development and maintenance of programs, processes, and reports related to Ellucian Banner, including Self Service
Implement file transfer and web service integrations between Banner and complementary software applications
Troubleshoot and debug software related issues, and design and develop solutions
Test and document processes and procedures
This position may require some evening and weekend work

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5 years minimum professional work experience in software development by time of appointment
Excellent interpersonal, communication, team and writing skills
A commitment to, and history of diversity, equity and inclusive practices
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work collaboratively and independently Preferred
Qualifications:

Experience working in a higher education environment
Application support and functional knowledge of Ellucian Banner products
Experience working with Oracle and PL/SQL
Experience using Argos reporting system

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
